Locksteps

Conformity assessment that locks design intent to as-built reality — before you place the quantity order, and after the first article is measured.

System architecture

Spec in. Design reviewed. Build proven.

Manufacturers issue GD&T and mil-spec requirements. Suppliers design and produce against them. Locksteps sits in the loop — Design review before the order, Build review on the physical part — with the Warrant engine assessing every claim.

Spec issued → Design reviewed → Quantity ordered → Part produced → Build proven. Warrant assesses every gate.

Two gates. One chain of custody.

Design before you buy. Build before you accept.

01

Design review

Supplier CAD and drawings are assessed against the manufacturer's GD&T package and applicable mil-spec clauses — before quantity is placed.

  • Feature control frames & tolerances
  • Datum schemes & stack-up risk
  • Material & finish callouts
  • Manufacturer approve → order QTY
02

Build review

The same requirements hit the actual produced part: CMM reports, RF readings, and inspection evidence — first article through lot acceptance.

  • CMM / dimensional evidence
  • RF & functional readings
  • As-built vs as-designed delta
  • Manufacturer approve → accept lot

Warrant Automated Conformity Assessment Engine

Under every Design → Approve → Build → Approve cycle, Warrant evaluates claims against a versioned rule register. Deterministic checks where the math is clear; structured model-assisted review where interpretation is required — always producing an auditable verdict trail.
